-John William Lomax, has been arrested and booked on murder charges. He is being charged with the fatal assult of UConn football player Jasper Howard. This marks the first significant developments since Howard was killed at an on-campus dance on Oct. 18. I hate these stories.

-Blake Griffith’s knee injury appears to be way more bummer than initially feared. Reports say he has been confirmed to have a stress fracture in his left kneecap. A second opinion revealed the more serious condition. Poor Clippers, they can just not buy a break. Ever.

The Detroit Lions have finally made there way out of the gutter.

-Larry Johnson, according to multiple reports, Johnson used a slur that refers to gays when trying to get away from reporters. The Chiefs have barred the running back from practice and all other team activities while the team and the NFL look into the events that hace taken place. Another athlete, well, you know the rest.

- Mark Philippoussis, the ‘tennis star’ is engaged to actress Jennifer Esposito. I guess his reality show days are behind him. Well, let’s see how the wedding goes. We may be forced to watch it.

-Bob Greise, the most recent analyst to stick is foot down his throat, has been told to stay home for one week by ESPN after a racist comment he made last week about NASCAR driver Juan Pablo Montoya.
